About Me: Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland Paul has been in AZ since 1985. Schooled in percussion and classically trained starting at the age of 8 Paul was drawn to the dark side wanting to play rock & roll. Early in his career on the east coast, Paul played in several “garage” bands playing school dances and pool parties, college mixers and frat parties at the University of MD and Towson State University and even making a trip up to Philly to do some recording.
While in the Air Force Paul packed his drum set around the world and played gigs at the NCO club where he was stationed in Germany and even played with the USO as part of the “orchestra” for a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Paul has always kept his drums close and ready to jam with friends and even fellow firefighters at the fire station while on shift!!
Paul has been working with bands playing everything from country to funk. Paul has been sought after to bring his talent & experience to Raizen Kain which is made up of top notch musicians who seemed to fit the mold of what he was looking for in a group…. Talent, professionalism and dedication!!!

Bill "Tripp" Carr

About Me: A veteran entertainer, Tripp started his performing career at the tender age of 5, when his mother (a performer herself) got he and his sister involved in the USO. Tripp sang and danced his way into high school where he formed a nine-piece band called, “The Blue Smoke”. TBS entered the nationwide “Battle-Of-The-Bands” in Kansas City (where Tripp was raised) and competed up through national finals where they took a fifth-place trophy from a field of over 22,000 bands! At age 17. Tripp started traveling and playing with many different acts including “Gary Mac and the MacTruque”, Chubby Checker, “The Fabulous Royals”, Pat Metheny, Milton Burle, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. A multi-instrument musician, singer, song-writer, Tripp plays bass guitar and sings with his favorite performers of all time – Candyce and Raizen Kain!

About Me: Mike joined in on the Los Angeles Club circuit in the late 70's playing Gazzarri's, The Starwood, and other Sunset Strip Night Clubs with recording artist Dennis Coats and Stephen Rexford of A&M Records band "Driver". Mike moved to the Orange County Club circuit in the 80's performing with several top cover bands. In the last 10 years, Mike has focused his talents within the contemporary christian genre opening a recording studio in Chandler and supporting the local church community as a musician and producer.

About Me:
Scott has been playing music for over 30 years. In grade school, Scott learned the basics of music, playing alto saxophone in the school band. Scott picked up guitar at the age of 15 and was working in bar bands by the time he was 17. Scott is a self-taught guitar player. Scott has traveled with bands all over the USA and is the newest member bringing his talents to the Raizen Kain Band. In addition, Scott has released 2 CD's of his own and is expanding his talent in to songwriting as well.
