Supplies for our Men & Women serving in Iraq & Afghanistan I believe each of us has the power to make a difference in someone's life, no matter how small. This is a grassroots operation started in 2005 by 2 families which still remain the backbone of this effort. There is no hidden political agenda. It's not about the war, it's about bringing some comforts of home in a small way to the brave men & women that are serving our country away from home. When I found out about Payson Supply Line, I contacted them to see if the troops had access to listen to music; I would donate a box of my CD's. To my delight, they were excited to accept my offer. Payson Supply Line also agreed to let me to put a link to their website so that more people can learn about this important cause. Each box is packed tightly to supply about 8 men/women. Socks – men’s and women’s – black cotton crew sweat socks; men’s size 8 – 12 women’s size 6 - 10 (in pkgs. of 1 dozen) Batteries – all sizes, especially AA Disposable cameras Calling cards – must be able to be used internationally Chapstick or similar – any brand Rolaids – in rolls Gum Toothbrushes, Toothpaste Deodorant sticks (no aerosol cans); for men and women Mosquito repellant wipes (summer) Mosquito coils (summer) Hand and foot warmers – small packets (winter) Sunblock (summer) Baby wipes Eye drops Foot cushions for shoes/boots – for men and women Antifungal cream, Foot powder Band-Aids (the ones that are already medicated are great) Antibiotic cream Anti-itch cream Bug-bite sticks (anti-itch) – such as Benadryl or other brand Soap – for men and women Shampoo for men Shampoo and conditioner, scented, for women Feminine hygiene products – especially tampons Hair ties for ponytails for women Multi-vitamins – for men and women Food Items you can donate Nuts, any variety, in cans or separately wrapped smaller packages Chips, any variety – preferably in canister packaging, like Pringles Dips for chips, salsas – packaged in cans, no refrigeration needed Cereal – sweetened (the package of 6 small boxes works great) Raisins – pkg. of small individual boxes Fruit snacks – small individual pkgs. Canned fruit – small lunch-box sized cans, packaged in multi-packs Peanut Butter, Skippy in the tube Crackers, any kind Cheese peanut butter crackers, or other flavors, already made and packaged in individual serving pkgs.
